Luchon
Illixo
Luchon is a very old town, one of the 1st French ski station. Very green, with its parks and gardens scattered between beautiful alleys or typical narrow streets, it offers the possibility of practicing both adventure and sliding sports, as well as a simple relaxation in peaceful and charming places, in the town or in the mountains.
Its cable car gives access to the Superbagnères ski station in summer and winter. Other amenities also provide access to the Peyragudes ski station.
Culturally rich and dynamic, with its Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions of the “Pays de Luchon”, the museum of Aeronautics, guided tours of old Luchon and the valley …, the city has great surprises in store for visitors. Over 600 events are held throughout the year.

Cultural discovering
The churches of the Larboust Valley have retained all their soul in small mountain villages. Adorned with medieval murals, they are worth a visit. Everyone will immediately be fascinated by the beauty of the landscapes encountered on the road. Between two passes, particularly famous thanks to the Tour de France, some villages are also the starting point for super walking for young and olders.
